Join Kerry Lord and the TOFT team for an afternoon of raucous revelry celebrating all the festivities of the season in the beautiful Old Shire Hall, crocheting your own Lord of Misrule doll.
Appointed during the Twelve Days of Christmas, ‘The Lord of Misrule’ was a central figure in late medieval and Tudor England, responsible for orchestrating fantastical feasts as well as plays and processions.
The TOFT team will be bringing the party and sporting their Christmas best so feel free to join in and come dressed up for the season, whether in fancy dress or your favourite Christmas jumper!
Doors open from 2pm, workshop starts at 2.30pm.
Hot and cold drinks, including mulled wine, and locally sourced cakes and mince pies will be available to buy throughout the event.
