Crochet for Calm: A Creative Wellbeing Workshop
Hosted by Pyromancy Productions C.I.C.Led by local artist Katy Lancaster and supported by Olivia McIntosh
Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly crochet session focused on creativity, connection, and wellbeing. In this calming workshop, you’ll learn how to make traditional granny squares—a versatile and satisfying skill that can be used to create your own blankets, bags, or even clothing pieces!
Crochet is a mindful craft that encourages focus and reduces stress while giving you a tangible sense of achievement. Whether you’re brand new to the hook or looking to refresh your skills, this session offers a chance to slow down, try something new, and meet like-minded people in a friendly, no-pressure environment.
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed—just bring yourself and a willingness to give it a go.
⚠️ Important Attendance Policy Our workshops are donation based to attend but have limited spaces and often run with waiting lists. If you book and do not attend without giving at least 24 hours’ notice, you may not be allowed to attend future sessions.
We put a lot of love and energy into running these events, and it's disheartening when spaces are wasted. Please only book if you genuinely intend to come—or let us know in advance if something changes. This helps us offer your place to someone else who would really value it. 💛
