About this event
Crochet has made a comeback recently, and more and more people are taking it up as a new hobby. Its perfect for sitting at home with a hot cuppa on a cold night, and you can make some beautiful items for yourself and as gifts.
In this workshop - you'll learn how to make a super cosy bobble hat!
Don't worry if you're a total beginner, this workshop starts from the beginning, teaching you some useful crochet stitches and how to use them to follow a pattern.
Crocheting is an incredibly relaxing and restorative craft, that has been proven to help maintain good mental health and has also been linked to improving some physical heath symptoms! Knowing just a handful of stitches will see you making some fantastic projects, as well as making that all important 'me time' even more enjoyable and worthwhile!
All materials for this workshop will be provided, however if have any yarn that you would like to bring, please feel free! you will need:
200g super chunky yarn
10mm crochet hook
Scissors
This workshop takes place at Gooey Events, in Livingston. There is parking around the back of the building and on the street.
*Please note that it this event is unable to run in-person due to Covid restrictions at the time, it will be run through a live and interactive call on Zoom, with a £10 refund per ticket to cover materials*
