Who is the event for:

The educational evening is targeted at children and young people who have Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis and their families. All are welcome for this free event organised by Crohn’s & Colitis UK.

Why should I come:

Making the transition from children’s to adult IBD services can be a daunting prospect for some young people. Aileen Fraser, IBD Clinical Nurse Specialist at Bristol Royal Infirmary, will guide us through this process. In addition Dr Wiskin Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children will talk about addressing the specific dietary needs of young people. The evening will also cover the psychological aspect of IBD and will finish with a real life story of how one young person is making a success of their life with IBD.

Park in either NCP Trenchard St £2.50 after 6pm or NCP Rupert St £4.00 after 6pm
