Crompton Walks - Hall i' th' Wood circular

Stepping back in time through the amazing Tudor era of Hall i’th’ Wood where Samuel Crompton invented the spinning mule in 1779. Uncovering the heritage of the Blackburn Road area, this walk will lead participants along the River Tonge, passing up to Crompton’s birthplace, the quiet hamlet of Firwood Fold.
