Do you work for HM Revenue and Customs or Companies House and based in Wales? Join our Virtual Coffee morning to meet the mentors.

About this event

We are proud to be working in partnership with Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs to help develop your career. This scheme is the first of its kind in Wales and will be tested with these two departments before launching across other government departments.

We’ve teamed up to push the boundaries of mentorship and to look for mentors across the Civil Service in Wales to try and expand and develop the knowledge, skills and opportunities available to staff in these government departments.

By having a mentor, you will gain access to a confidential one-to-one relationship in which you can trust a more experienced person as a sounding board and for guidance. It is a protected, non-judgmental relationship which facilitates a wide range of learning, experimentation and development.

Mentoring is a great way to form new networks and share experiences across boundaries. Being mentored can help you overcome problems, plan your career and develop capabilities.

On the 24 November 11.00 to Midday we will be holding a virtual Meet the Mentor Coffee Morning.

Our Mentor speakers are:-

Richard Ellis- Cardiff Regional Implementation Team Lead.

Gemma Cross- Head of Tax Professionalism, Strategic Planning and Recruitment for Solicitors Office.

Companies House

John-Mark Frost- Director of Operations and others to be confirmed.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you’ll be able to speak to experienced mentors from both departments and listen to all the benefits they’ve experienced from mentoring.  There will also be an opportunity for you to ask the panel any questions you might have.
