Event description

Description

Service design is about improving outcomes for users and making service provision more efficient for government at the same time. The eight cross-government service design meet-up is going to look at both aspects. We’ll look at what economic impact service design projects can have and what social change they can drive. We’ll hear from people working in different areas of government.

Join us for a half-day event on ‘Economics and social change’. On 26 September, we will meet in London and discuss how the services we design work in a wider economic context and support social change. The event is open to everyone working in the public sector interested in the design of services.

The event is organised by the cross-government service design community and the User-Centred Design Communities team at the Government Digital Service. It’s being hosted at GDS in East London. It is open to anyone working in the public sector, including central government, local government, arm’s-length bodies and the NHS.
