The Policing Institute for the Eastern Region at Anglia Ruskin University is delighted to invite you to a special event on human trafficking.

Aimed at practitioners, the event will provide the opportunity to experience a powerful multi-screen film exhibition about sex trafficking and also hear Kate Roberts, Head of Office for the Human Trafficking Foundation speak about her work at the foundation. There will be also a wine reception with opportunity for networking and discussion.

The Crossing is directed by Dr Shreepali Patel, Director of Cultures of the Digital Economy at Anglia Ruskin University. At the heart is the tale of a young trafficked girl, and the story unfolds using live action, visual effects and immersive sound design across interconnected screens in a gallery environment. The result is an powerful, immersive and thought-provoking exploration of the black market economy and the destructive consequences of human trafficking.
