Both Putney and Fulham like many over other London's suburbs owe their existence to the mighty River Thames.
In this fascinating walk Blue Badge Tour Guide Chris Van Hayden will share the rich history of both villages, from the Medieval period to the present. The tour's main themes are Rowing on the Thames, the English Civil Wars, Mary Wollstonecraft, Granville Sharp and the cause for the Abolition of Slavery, the Bishops' palace and more....
