Event description

Description

You have been reading about it for years and despite the recently announced delay, Crossrail is scheduled to be opened next year. The Elizabeth Line will be born. On our tour we will explore some of East London’s Crossrail structures, including the roof gardens above the Canary Wharf Station, the Pudding Mill Portal and the pre-Crossrail train service. We will also discover some fascinating connections with the original 1863 tube network and Brunel's Thames Tunnel. Come along and see these developments before they are consigned to history books. Our finish point is London Bridge Station. Please bring your oystercards to cover fares. The tour last approx. 2.5 hours. The contact no on the day is 07768-451425.

One final point on the delayed opening. This is certainly very unfortunate for London, but on the plus side it does provide a bit more time to see the develpments before final opening.
