Crowded to the full – The Army and Opportunity
Our talks programme discusses subjects that are brought to light by this year’s Army at the Fringe programme.
About this event
This talk uses a quote from Scottish Literature to spark off an intimate and interactive discussion in our Briefing Room.
Join us to talk about the Army and Opportunity, with Scots Guards veteran Paul Boggie, who co-wrote Heroin to Hero, Tony McGeever, who acts the part of Paul in the play, and serving soldiers who have achieved against the odds.
One hour of life, crowded to the full with glorious action, and filled with noble risks, is worth whole years of those mean observances of paltry decorum, in which men steal through existence, like sluggish waters through a marsh, without either honour or observation.
