About this event

Interested in finding out more about crowdfunding?

Crowdfund Scotland are running an online 'train the trainer' event on Tuesday 20th of October with our partners at LEADER.

This will be a live, interactive session suitable for anyone who works with charities, volunteers, community groups or organisations and wants to find out more about this method of fundraising.

By the end of the session, attendees will be confident in talking through the opportunities that crowdfunding can present, spotting ideas that have great crowdfunding potential, and be able to point people to the support available to get them started with their crowdfunder project.

By joining the session, you’ll learn about:

  • The Crowdfund Scotland programme
  • What crowdfunding is and how it works
  • The benefits of crowdfunding
  • Three steps to success
  • Available guidance and resources
  • Top tips for supporting projects

There will be time to get answers to any of your questions in a Q&A session at the end, so this is your chance to find out everything you need to know about crowdfunding.

How to join

Register for free through Eventbrite to receive a link to the live webinar the day before the event. You will receive this via email, so please check your spam/ junk folder. A webcam and microphone are not required to join this live workshop.

If you're unable to participate in this event, we may still be able to support you. Please get in touch with the Rural Perth & Kinross coach by emailing brenda@crowdfunder.co.uk

Bringing Scottish communities together

We're in Scotland helping to make great ideas happen through a combination of expert crowdfunding coaching, events and grants.

Crowdfund Scotland is for everyone in Scotland with an idea that can transform their community.

Our expert coaches are on the ground, sharing their crowdfunding expertise and know-how in Forth Valley and Lomond, Fife, Scottish Borders, Rural Perth and Kinross, Tyne Esk, West Lothian, Kelvin Valley and Falkirk, Greater Renfrewshire and Inverclyde and Lanarkshire.

We're hosting workshops and events to help you bring your idea to life.
