Crowdfunding for Charities
Thu 20 April 2017, 10:00 – 16:00 BST
Do you need to raise money for one of your charity projects?
Do you want to increase your charity’s reach?
Have you thought about crowdfunding?
Could you improve your online fundraising and marketing?
This crowdfunding workshop is specifically tailored towards you.
By the end of the session you will know:
- Which crowdfunding/online platform is best for you
- The 6 stages of creating a crowdfunding campaign
- How to tell your story for crowdfunding
- How to make the most appropriate crowdfunding video on a zero or low budget
- How to effectively spread your charity’s message online
- How to turn crowdfunding supporters into recurring donors
Attendees will make the most out of the session if they come in with an idea for what they would crowdfund for (usually this is one of your charity’s projects). However, even if you do not have an idea, all attendees will receive a workbook containing planning tools, cheat sheets, templates etc to complete during the day and which can also be used to support them outside of the session. This day is interactive and will get you thinking and working on your specific charity campaign as well as helping the others in the room develop their ideas too. After completing the workshop you will be ready to implement your crowdfunding plan and launch your campaign and raise a minimum of £2,000.
