Crown the Knave is a brand new fortnightly

stand-up comedy night located underneath London

Bridge in a cosy winebar called Mug House. It was

started by mother and son comedian team Oli

Bettesworth and Janet Bettesworth (click on name

for website), and its eighth fun-packed evening will be Tuesday

5th May.

Each night, 6 of the best and the brightest hand-picked

up-and-coming comedians from the UK circuit will be

invited to perform extended sets, trying new material

or honing 'old gold' in this delightfully intimate and

atmospheric venue. Forget the soulless TV polish of your

'Live at the Apollo's and 'Mock the Week's - this is real, live

and fresh stand-up from the new generation of comedy stars.
