Event description
We’re excited to be worshiping together again in person! We can’t wait to see you there as we gather for worship, prayer, and God’s Word.

About this event

Croydon Seventh-day Adventist Church is a vibrant and loving place to come and worship God. We are passionate about learning about Jesus and serving our local community.

Book NOW to join us in-person for public worship on Saturdays at 11:15am!

We’re starting slowly and safely, so there's a capacity limit on how many can attend to allow for social distancing. Please use this system to pre-book tickets for you and your family. (Other services/activities will be gradually relaunched when it’s safe to do so.)

If you're not able or don't feel comfortable returning in person quite yet, then head over to CROYDON SDA ONLINE to continue watching the service online each week!

Expectations

Please be aware of the following before you book a ticket to attend services at Croydon Seventh-day Adventist Church:

By registering to attend the worship service in-person, you are acknowledging and giving consent that:

  • The church will keep a record of your relevant personal details for 21 days, as required for NHS track and trace in the event of a COVID-19 outbreak.
  • Your temperature will be taken and hands must be sanitised before the Worship Service. If you fail the screening, (above the safe temperature) you'll be kindly asked to return home.
  • You will wear a mask when moving around in communal areas.
  • You will practice social distancing between different households.
  • The service will be filmed and live-streamed, so it is possible that your image may appear in the filming and streaming of this service.

Booking Tickets

  • Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.
  • Please only book tickets for those in your household or support bubble (including children). This will allow us to ensure that you are seated together.
  • If you need to book for people outside your household/bubble please complete a separate booking.
  • If you are not able to attend after booking, please ensure that you cancel your booking so that someone else could have your seat(s) instead.

Before Attending Church

If you have any of the following conditions then you are not ready to attend the in-person church worship and will need to wait until these symptoms pass before attending church in person:

  • Flu like symptoms within the last 10 days
  • Fever, cough, sore throat, chills, muscle pain, shortness of breath and loss of taste and smell

What to Bring to Church

  • Please bring a face mask. (We’ll have spare ones available on arrival if you’ve forgotten yours.)
  • There will be no water points or refreshments available, so please make sure to bring a water bottle and take it home with you after the service.

Childcare

  • Please note that we haven’t yet resumed children’s services, so you will need to keep your children with you at all times.

Attending Church

  • Arrive at the church 10 minutes prior to the Worship Service for check-in.
  • Your temperature will be taken and hands must be sanitised before the Worship Service.
  • If you fail the screening, (above the safe temperature) you'll be kindly asked to return home.
  • Wear a mask when moving around in communal areas.
  • Ushers will direct you to your seat.
  • Practice social distancing between different households. We have set out socially distanced seating within all of our meeting spaces.
  • Refrain from physical contact such as shaking hands and hugs.
  • Limit use of the church building to the foyer, sanctuary and bathrooms.
  • 2 people will be allowed to use the bathroom at a time.
  • Remain in your seat until the end of church service if possible.
  • Everyone will need to depart straight after the service, so you won’t be able to have lunch at church.
  • All surfaces will be sanitised between services.
  • Live-streamed services will continue to be available for those who cannot attend.

Organiser Croydon Seventh-day Adventist Church

Organiser of Croydon SDA Church Worship Service Admission

Croydon is the second most populated borough in London with over 300,000 people, and even more importantly, it’s the home to Croydon SDA Church! In a busy town full of people on the move we are sure that you’ll find stability, family and a place to call home right here.

We believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything — the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us — is part of His plan

We want to make a lasting difference in your life, in our community, and in the world. How do we go about that? By leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. That's the driving purpose behind everything we do. We believe that God wants to have a relationship with you, and his love can reach you wherever you are. The best way to find out more about our great church is to come and visit us. We can’t wait to meet you!
