CSP Northern Ireland Support Worker Engagement Event - Ulster Hospital

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) is hosting this meeting specifically for Support Workers in the South Eastern Trust, as part of its collection of meetings across Northern Ireland.

The CSP will use the meeting to gather information and feedback from you about the current opportunities, barriers to, and aspirations for training, education and career development for physiotherapy support workers in your trust.

This will help the CSP to develop a credible set of recommendations for the growth and development of the physiotherapy support workforce in Northern Ireland.

The CSP will also use this as an opportunity to report on the findings of a recent survey that was completed by support workers and heads of service in May this year.

We will explain how similar work has been conducted in the rest of the UK, and discuss what the possibilities could be for support staff in Northern Ireland, including a discussion about Apprenticeships.
