CSRA goes to the Second National Festival of LGBT History (Manchester)
Sat 27 February 2016, 10:00 – 17:00 GMT
CSRA is organising a meet up for LGB* civil servants to attend the Second National Festival of LGBT History to celebrate LGBT History Month.
The one-day event is being held at the People’s History Museum (Spinningfields) in central Manchester on 27 February from 10am-5pm. The programme includes talks, discussion, tours, theatre and music – with a number of interesting speakers. Manchester, of course, has a rich LGBT history – where Alan Turing once developed one of the world’s first computers at the university, and where Jeanette Winterson now teaches.
There is a suggested donation to the museum of £5 for attending the event.
If you are interested in attending then please RSVP below. We'll meet on the day to experience the festival and regroup later for drinks after the event for those interested in staying on and meeting some colleagues. We'll contact you closer to the event with details of where we'll meet.
PLEASE NOTE: CSRA represents LGB* civil servants - this is a meet up for civil servants only. Please only RSVP if you are a civil servant.
If you have any questions then email Michael Contaldo at firstname.lastname@example.org or 07772696188.
