Before the event you will be emailed with detailed location  info as the sat nav can often take you the wrong way so please familiarise yourself with the right directions. You'll also have my number in case you have difficulties finding us on the day.

What is a cuddle puddle?

A cuddle puddle is a gathering of individuals who want to experience the contact and connection of non-sexual touch with others in a safe space. A place to hold and be held in a nurturing environment free from discrimination or judgement, to be seen and to be vulnerable.

What happens during a cuddle puddle?

The session is divided into two parts; the first involves discussion and some exercises that help us understand and explore boundaries and consent. We’ll have a short break and then the second half is our time to get cuddled up either in one big group, small pods or just 1-2-1s.

Who are cuddle puddles for?

If you're over 18yrs and not under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol during the puddle then you are welcome . I aim to make the cuddle puddles as inclusive as possible and I want to ensure everyone feels they are welcome to attend. To discuss accessibility or concerns please contact me.

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Something comfortable like leisure or gym wear is good. Avoid tight or restrictive clothing and also anything like chunky jewellery or big belt buckles that might be uncomfortable for you and others when cuddling. Please also have good personal hygiene but without strong fragrances.

What should I bring?

Bring your authentic self, presence and openness firstly. Water and a snack if you wish but please avoid bringing nuts. Please also bring a mat cushion/blanket etc. if you have them to make our puddle space for the session cosy; there will be some already but it's nice to have extra cosineness

Do cuddle puddles ever lead to sex?

No. We stay fully clothed throughout the session and touch is to remain platonic at all times, this includes no kissing. A simple guide to keep in mind is that all touch should be appropriate to still be conducted if there were children present and anywhere that swimwear would cover is off limits

What if I become aroused?

Accepted Answer

This is a non sexual activity but there may be times when you start to feel aroused from being in close proximity with others. This is a completely natural response so there is no need for shame or embarrassment. Changing position or taking a break is the best way to respond.

What do I need to know about accessibility?

Accepted Answer

There is a 1-2min walk on gravel and concrete from car park to the venue. There is a small step up into the room. Most of the session is held on the floor  but a chair can be provided if needed. Please contact me to discuss specific needs.
