LE GRAND VOYAGE

By Ismaël Ferroukhi starring Nicolas Cazale, Mohamed Majd BAFTA Nominee – Best Film Not In The English Language

Just before his college entrance exams, Réda, a young man living in the south of France is obligated to drive his aging father to Mecca for the Hajj. The purposeful and solemn pilgrimage for the father is an incomprehensible waste of time for the son. Along the way, the pair’s stark differences and attitudes towards life become blisteringly apparent, and what they come to understand about one another has implications far greater than the journey itself.

Run time: 108 minutes

Certificate: PG

All our film screenings are now Pay What You Decide, which means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen the film.

We want to encourage more people to come and see films at Kala Sangam, more often. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the financial risk of buying a ticket for a film in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.

Tickets are available to book in advance as usual, but there is no obligation for you to pay until after you have seen the film. You can then decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience, which means if you haven’t enjoyed it at all, you don’t have to pay anything.

Please ensure you have arrived and collected your tickets 15 minutes before the film starts in order to secure your seats. At the end of the show, you can decide what to pay, either by cash or card on the door.
