Welcome to the third and final workshop in our marketing strategy series!

This final workshop is about putting your business marketing strategy into action – hurrah! With the constraints of time, money and energy in mind, you’ll work out an action plan for you that will help you avoid the common pitfalls that see marketing plans veer off course, happen sporadically, or come to a complete standstill.

There are lots of ways to put your marketing strategy into action so that it delivers the results your business needs. We’ll use this workshop to find a way that most suits you and your business so you can:


Schedule your marketing activity
No more leaving it until the phone stops ringing and sales dry up, or until you see someone else doing exactly what you’d planned (but hadn’t got around to doing)

Budget for your marketing activity
Know that you have enough money to see your marketing activity through to the end, or work out how to adapt your strategy so you still get results and stay on budget.

Evaluate your marketing activity

Set and review the signs that your marketing strategy works so that you can do more of what your audience loves and evolve your strategy as your business grows.


MORE ABOUT THE ‘CULTIVATING CLIENTS’ WORKSHOP SERIES

Each of the three workshops in the series will enable you to optimise a different part of your marketing strategy.

Depending on what you want to get out of it, you may want to attend one, two, or all three, workshops. We recommend attending all three workshops as you'll use and build on the work you do in each session. Attend all three and by the end of the series, you'll have also benefited from the chance to develop a complete marketing strategy for your business.

Those wishing to fill in gaps in their business marketing strategy's development are very welcome to attend just those workshops that will be most useful to them.

We’re also keeping delegate numbers small so you can benefit from a more tailored mix of training and support. We’ll share our marketing know-how and facilitate the development of marketing strategy specifically for your business while you’re with us.

Workshop 1: Monday 9th October, 10am-1pm

Broad theme of 'targeting' as you'll define the direction you need the marketing strategy to take your business in, who your profitable clients and customers are and where to find them


Workshop 2: Monday 13th November, 10am-1pm

Focuses on 'engaging' with your clients or customers as we develop your marketing messages, determine which marketing channels and techniques will best connect you with your target audience, and show you how to help people move from thinking about buying from you to making that purchase.


Workshop 3: Monday 11th December, 10am-1pm (workshop details above)

This one is all about 'actioning' your strategy to make sure all that marketing activity you've planned actually happens. You'll work on scheduling your marketing communications, achieving results your business needs for your budget, and look at how to review your strategy once it's in place to make sure it's delivering the results you want.

How do I find the Purple Square HQ venue?

The group will meet at Purple Square HQ, 32a St Mary Street, Bridgwater TA6 3LY. It's above Wilkie May Tuckwood Estate Agents. You'll find the door on the side of the building next to the car parking spaces (the spaces aren't ours, I'm afraid, so please don't park there).


Access to Purple Square HQ

Purple Square HQ is housed in a listed building, and as such, you may want to consider the access. There is a step up through the 'front' door, and the venue is accessed via stairs (one flight to the break out/tea and coffee/landing area, and another to the meeting room). If this is an issue and you want to attend the group, please let me know.


Travelling to the event and parking

Bridgwater is served by many bus routes and has a train station. Google Maps estimates the bus station is a 7-minute walk away from the event venue, and the train station roughly 14 minutes.

If driving, the venue is close to a number of car parks. Parkopedia.co.uk provides searchable information about car parks and pricing. Please do confirm parking restrictions displayed on the signage in the car park itself.

Cyclists can find racks outside NatWest (9 York Buildings, Cornhill) and Lloyds bank (25 Cornhill, opposite Prezzo).
