Take part in this year's Active Schools Fun Run Series at Cults! *PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLINE BOOKING HAS NOW CLOSED - Please email JoDixon@sportaberdeen.co.uk if you would like to register your child; please note that sign-ups cannot be made on the day of a race. Back by popular demand after 2 years away, the Fun Run Series is a great series of running races where children can race against their friends and the clock. Entry to the Fun Run Series is free and with a number of different venues there is a series near you!

Fun Runs are open to all, so if you can't make it to the Cults event then why not sign up for another Fun Run on a different day!

P1-P3 races are 400m in length; P4s run 800m and those in P5-7 have the choice of running either 800m or 1600m. All runners will receive a participation medal if they run on at least 3 race dates at a single venue.

The top boys and girls in each P4-P7 age group will be invited to the Champion of Champions Event in June.

You will receive a confirmation email once you have booked your tickets. Your Active Schools Coordinator will then be in touch nearer the date of the first race.

Cults Race Information:

Race dates: Mondays 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th May

Approximate race times:

4.00-4.15pm: P1-3 (400m);

4.15-4.30pm: P4 (800m) & P5-7 (800m);

4.30-4.45pm: P5 (1600m);

4.45-5.00pm: P6-7 (1600m).

Venue: Grass Running Track, Cults Academy playing fields, Hillview Crescent, Cults, AB15 9RT

Please note that Active Schools Aberdeen facilitate activities for children from local authority schools in Aberdeen City. Children who do not attend these schools are still free to enter the Fun Run Series but will not be eligible to take part in the Champion of Champions event.
