Description

Cultural Competency Training is open to all staff (Academic and Professional Services). This training will be delivered by Challenge Consultancy.

This training session will upskill participants to:

  • Define key terms used on the subject of culture
  • Use appropriate language to describe race and culture
  • Recognise how cultural beliefs may affect relationships at work
  • Employ strategies to facilitate cross cultural communication, internally and externally
  • Use practical methods to reduce the chances of being misunderstood and of misreading signals from others
