Let's Inspire Each Other!

We would like to invite you to an online gathering of people working in the creative industries in and across the Scottish Borders, to hear about some new developments in the sector, hear from some key organisations about what is happening and find out about some opportunities coming up and, more importantly, come and network and reconnect to others, working from home (or not), in sheds, studios and spaces across the Borders.

Invited speakers include:

Connecting Threads: Rachel Hunter will introduce Connecting Threads, one strand of the proposed Destination Tweed project, connecting people and place along the length of the Tweed

Live Borders: Jane Hogg from Live Borders will give an update of Live Borders, and Creative Arts Business Network (CABN), in light of Covid19

Xp North: Alex Smith will introduce XpoNorth a specialist support mechanism for the creative, heritage and digital sectors and leading International conference and showcase. .

Alchemy: Rachael Disbury will give an update on Alchemy Film & Arts' 2021 programme and how to get involved, including: upcoming screenings and discussion events as part of the online Continue Watching programme featuring a discursive event on the position of artist moving image in Scotland; an update on Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival 2021; updates on artist projects and themes in focus, and an update on Alchemy's community filmmaking initiative - Film Town.

There will be opportunity to network, share stories and (re-)connect with other creatives in the Borders.
