A smorgasbord of arts and cultural opportunities
Following on from last year’s very successful Cultural Marketplace at the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum, Curious Minds has once again joined forces with Kathy Heywood - Learning Officer at The Williamson Gallery and Museum in Birkenhead to offer cultural organisations and practitioners from across the region the opportunity to showcase their services and cultural offer for schools.
Cultural Organisations/ practitioners:
If you have a schools offer in Art & Design, Music, Dance, Drama, Creative Writing, New Media, History or anything cultural then book your place at the Marketplace, its free!
If you are a school based in the NW, this will be a one stop shop to find out what’s available to enhance your curriculum from local and regional cultural providers. This event is a drop in session which will be of interest to staff from a wide range of subjects, including Dance, Drama, Art & Design, History, Creative Writing, Film and New Media.
Schools send as many staff as you want, but please register so we have an idea of numbers for each session you can choose between an afternoon session 1.30.00 3.30pm, or a twilight session 4pm – 5.30pm

We are also offering up to 15 schools who have registered to begin their Artsmark Journey with Arts Council England the opportunity to attend an Artsmark Development Day
10 am – 3.30pm and then attend the Cultural Marketplace afterwards to book on this session please follow the link below:
Discover and Explore Arts Award Advisor Training
On the morning of the 11th October we are offering 15 people the opportunity to train to be Discover and Explore Arts Award Trainers – for more information, costs and to book a place please contact Kathy Heywood at the Williamson- firstname.lastname@example.org

Cultural Organisation setting up:
Cultural organisation can set up from 12.00 - 1.00 we will confirm exact times nearer the day but we envisage 15 schools finishing training at 1pm, the venue will be open to all schools from 1.30pm, 15 schools (30 teachers and senior managers) will finish Artsmark Training at 3.30 and will then be invited to attend the marketplace as well as schools across the Wirral and Cheshire etc.
