About this event
- Event lasts 1 hour 15 minutes
How is Gen AI shifting the way we assess students? What are the implications of these shifts for embedding culturally sensitivity into assessments? What changes do culturally sensitive assessments require of the larger curriculum, teaching practices and educators’ professional development? We will extend our existing research on culturally sensitive curriculum to explore what culturally sensitive assessments are and why they are needed now to address both equity and academic integrity concerns (Quinlan & Thomas, 2024; Quinlan et al, 2024; Thomas & Quinlan, 2024; 2023; 2021).
