CREATE Paisley, right2dance, Paisley YMCA and Renfrewshire Council Youth Services are working together to launch Culture Academy with the opportunity to learn:

• Expression through a variety of art forms
• Collaboration and working with others
• Communication
• Leadership
• To manage mental and physical health
• Confidence and positive peer relationships

The programme is open to S1-S6 with an option of 4 art strands:

1. Dance
2. Visual Arts (Mural)
3. Creative Writing
4. Media

Each art strand has a limit of 10 spaces so sign up quickly to secure your spot.

Workshops will start on Thursday 8th April with an introduction section led by other young people and then run every Thursday til the end of term and will be followed by a summer programme until mid July.

As well as developing creative skills and hopefully having a lot of fun, you can achieve a Bronze Arts Award and take part in festivals and showcases of the work. We're particularly keen to work with young people that would benefit from building their confidence and skills for learning, life and work.
