🔹 Course Overview

This Culture and Values in Care course explores the crucial role of a strong value base within care practice and how it shapes workplace culture. Participants will examine the importance of embedding safeguarding principles and a person-centred approach at the heart of their work, ensuring services are both safe and empowering.

Through interactive discussion and case studies, you’ll gain a clear understanding of the 6Cs of care – Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment – and how these translate into everyday practice. The course also explores how these values underpin a positive workplace culture, linking directly to the six key principles of the Care Act 2014: Empowerment, Prevention, Proportionality, Protection, Partnership and Accountability.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Recognise the importance of the 6Cs in shaping effective, compassionate care.
  • Understand how strong values help foster a safe and supportive workplace culture.
  • Identify what good practice looks like when applying the principles of the Care Act 2014.
  • Reflect on the risks and consequences when values and principles are not embedded in care.

This course is ideal for those working in care settings who want to strengthen their understanding of values-led practice and its direct impact on safeguarding, service quality, and workplace culture.

Please note: Your deposit will be fully refunded upon attending the course.
