Isabel Story (Nottingham) - Culture is not a luxury: Cuba and the USSR in the 1980s

Dr Story received her PhD in Hispanic and Latin American from the University of Nottingham.


Anna Clayfield (Chester) - Sovietisation and siege mentality: mass mobilisation in Cuba in the 1980s

Dr Clayfield received her PhD in Hispanic and Latin American Studies from the University of Nottingham. She is currently a Lecturer in Spanish and Hispano-American Studies at the Univeristy of Chester. She has previously taught Cardiff University.
