Culture Eats Strategy for Breakfast
Wed 10 May 2017, 09:00 – 13:30 BST
Peter Drucker famously said that “Culture eats strategy for breakfast”.
Essentially, you can have the best strategy in the world but unless it’s aligned with your people and your culture it won’t work.
The challenge that organisations often face is ensuring that values are aligned to the organisation’s vision and embedded within the culture.
Culture and behaviours have a huge impact on an organisation’s performance, and values are the Golden Thread that links everything together. If you get these right, then it can significantly enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and performance. Get them wrong, and it can make your organisation’s goals and ambitions much harder to achieve.
