Culture Hack Scotland is a fast-paced and highly creative event that challenges everyone who attends to make innovative new culture-related projects in just 48 hours.
The hack is for developers, programmers, artists, producers, designers, industry professionals and policy makers. We provide good quality arts data and rich content, excellent food and great people to collaborate with.
Last years Culture Hack Scotland was mind blowing, a special hack experience with impressive rich content and data. There was an 'adventures in code' workshop for the uninitiated, a dancing skinny jean hardware hack, a 3D game based on an Edwin Morgan poem and a Macbeth parlour game, amongst 30+ projects made. We also launched Sync, our Geeks-in-Residence programme and SyncTank, our online magazine.
Friday 6-9pm - Opening night
Drinks, introductions to both the data and the people who are here to hack, a party really.
If you're keen, you are very welcome to start hacking on Friday night.
