Description

This is a great introduction to cupcake baking and decorating with buttercream, the perfect course if you are a complete beginner or looking to brush up on skills!

In this half-day course we will show you step by step how to make a fail-proof cake batter, ensuring perfectly baked cupcakes time and again. You will make a flavoured sugar syrup so your cupcakes stay moist, then make smooth Swiss meringue buttercream and use it to try out a variety of different swirls and piping techniques. You will also learn how to work with and make simple blossoms and roses with sugarpaste.

To ensure quality learning, we keep all our classes to a maximum of 10 participants. The course includes practical tuition from our trusted GHI chef tutors, recipes and ingredients, plus refreshments. Aprons and all equipment are provided for you to use on the day.

All food produced during the course is yours to take home.
