About this event

Cupid’s intervention poetry night is an opportunity to hear a wide range of poets read pieces all surrounding the topic of love.

We welcome works from any step of the process. Whether you’ve just started writing or have filled countless notebooks, come and read your work aloud to a room of like-minded individuals doing the very same!

No desire to perform? No worries! This night will serve as the perfect chance to gather some inspiration and appreciate some emotionally charged art.

Celebrate Valentine's Day with us and come by for a peaceful evening of love poetry and good company!

Open mic sign up will be at the door (2 -3 minutes per performer)

Can I come if I’m not performing?

Of course! Cupid’s intervention welcomes anyone in need of some artistic rejuvenation :)

I don’t write poetry but I’d like to share.

Whilst we are heavily centered around poetry as a form of writing - all work is welcomed so long as you can relate it to the theme and stick to your allotted time <3

Will I be recorded?

We want to give every performer the spotlight they deserve! That being said, we will ask everyone’s preferences beforehand :)
