The Derbyshire Archaeological Society was founded in 1878 to encourage interest in the history and archaeology of the County. We publish an annual journal and a local history magazine, and organise a programme of talks and visits. Members have access to our own library based in Belper. Our talks are open to non members and online events can be booked through Eventbrite. Please visit our website for detail of venues for in-person events.
