Description

Are you looking to build cultural capital in your school?

Then you will not want to miss this unique opportunity brought to you from the Isle of Wight Cultural Education Partnership which includes local schools and arts and heritage organisations.

Our Curriculum Conference will be led by renowned educationalist and keynote speaker, Professor Mick Waters. Other speakers include The Isle of Wight Council’s Cabinet Member for Children's Services, Councillor Paul Brading and Arts Council England’s South West Relationship Manager, Rajni Patel. There will also be a choice of workshops on curriculum development (including Assistant Head Teacher at Gosport and Fareham Multi Academy Trust, Chris Willis leading on a KS3 workshop) and a marketplace showcasing the work of Isle of Wight schools and cultural and heritage organisations.

This unique and timely event will enable you and your staff to explore effective practice, reflect on your own school’s curriculum and find out how local arts and heritage organisations can support your school’s development priorities.
