Lekha Sharma (@teacherfeature2): The overview effect and the importance of big picture curriculum understanding

Lekha is an Expert Advisor at the Teacher Development Trust and a former Vice Principal and experienced Senior Leader. She is the author of ‘Curriculum to Classroom’, an Evidence Lead in Education with the Greenshaw Research School and a Postgraduate Student studying ‘Learning and Teaching’ at the University of Oxford.

Alex Fairlamb(@lamb_heart_tea): Blended, not binary - creating a diverse and representative curriculum

Alex is a Teaching & Learning and Curriculum Assistant Headteacher. She is a History SLE and former Lead Practitioner. Currently, coordinator of @TMHistoryIcons, Member of the History Association Secondary Committee, #WomenEd, and Lead Teacher for GirlKindNE

Alex Gordon (@MrAWGordon_): Whole school framework (Pedagogical Principles) for Teaching and Learning

Alex is an Assitant Principal for Teaching and Learning at a Secondary School in London. He is a History Teacher and has an MA in Education, completed a borough wide TLR Research Project and is currently completing his NPQML. He tweets and writes about all things Teaching and Learning, CPD and Professional Development. He blogs at

Zoe Enser (@greeborunner): Lessons from the Classroom: the importance of a curriculum for CPD

Zoe is currently working as the Lead Specialist Adviser for The Education People across Kent. Prior to this she was an English Teacher for 20 years, as well as Head of Department and Senior Leader for CPD and Teaching and Learning. Zoe also works with the EEF as an ELE in Kent, the Teacher Development Trust as a specialist adviser, working on their NQT Leading Teacher Development, and is the co-author of two books, Generative Learning in Action and The CPD Curriculum. She is currently writing a book on teaching Shakespeare as well as writing for a variety of teaching publications.
