This Curriculum Transformation SALT session will share examples of how subject areas across the university are designing an inclusive curriculum. Inclusivity is a design principle of the Curriculum Transformation project and we will share some excellent examples of how subject areas are designing their curricula to enable all students to succeed. We will also share how the anticipatory requirements of the EHRC and Abrahart case are requiring university’s to think differently about assessment design and what colleagues are doing in these areas.

Session presenters:

Prof Amira Guirguis, DPVC Inclusivity – Inclusivity in HE in 2025 (Introduction)

Prof Jo Berry, School Education Lead – A Strategic Approach to Inclusive Curriculum Design

Dr Penny Neyland, Associate Professor Biosciences - Approaches to Inclusivity and Alternative Assessment in Biosciences

Prof Amira Guirguis, Inclusivity and PSRBs – Pharmacy Case Study
