Monthly social meet up for Surrey businesses. No agenda, no subscription, just a pleasant evening of chat, networking and great food.
Joanne McGowan is our kind host and has arranged for us to eat at Maloncho in Guildford. We're proud to be supporting local charity, Disability Challengers.
Joanne is the brains and determination behind The Guildford Hub which focuses on peer to peer business learning to help businesses grow and develop. Through face-to-face events and exclusive online members' groups, members easily make strong connections and find ways to collaborate. Its approach has been described as a breath of fresh air and the Hub welcomes anyone along for a Free visit to see just why it is different.
Joanne McGowan has run several small businesses since leaving university, including a dance and drama academy, party and events company and now the Guildford Hub. She is also the founder of The Content Marketing Challenge and regularly advises and manages other businesses content and social media activities. She is also in demand as a trainer and speaker.
About Disability Challengers
Disability Challengers is a registered children's charity, established in 1979 and is dedicated to providing exciting and challenging play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people. It does this through its play and youth centres in Guildford and Farnham and through a range of community based projects across Surrey and, increasingly, the surrounding areas.
A significant benefit of its service is that it provides families with short-breaks during high pressure times e.g. at the weekend or during the school holidays, enabling them to do ‘ordinary’ activities such as shopping or spending time with their other children.
About the Food
Joanne has arranged a selection of starters and main courses for the bargain price of £20 (drinks and service charge not included) with £5 of that being donated to Disability Challengers. Please pay cash on the night.
