Introduction to hand sewing

Class Description

Cushions are an essential part of our home interiors and we can never have enough styles and colours. They can be an excellent first project for a beginner who’s just learning how to sew. In this fun and relaxing class we will be learning how to make a stylish overlap cushion.

- Non stretchy fabric (or an unwanted t-shirt)

- Embroidery thread

- Embroidery needle

- Embroidery hoop

(or you can purchase the sewing kit)

The following/next workshops will involve designing and making clothes and other home accessories. You will be given the opportunity to showcase your collection at our annual Fashion and Music showcase or to set up a stall to sell your handmade products.
