Between September 2024 and June 2025, photographers Inés Yearwood-Sanchez and Chris Dorley-Brown worked with artists from Royal College of Art and local residents to document the stories and lives of the Custom House community.
Inés Yearwood-Sanchez created portraits of oral history interviewees along with their favourite object, celebrating their identity, pride and agency through collaborative photography.
Chris Dorley-Brown captured streetscapes of Custom House, reflecting on its everyday beauty and the looming changes brought by regeneration.
Together, these works preserve sand honour a community in transition, foregrounding lived experience at a time of rapid urban change.
The exhibition has been extended and will be open to the public and groups from 18th September to 2nd October on weekdays Monday - Friday from 10 am to 5pm
