Customisation Station. Custom Art Workshop with Garment Upcycling

Get creative at this fun and interactive workshop led by Curtis Donovan, a London-based artist who transforms garments and everyday objects with art, alongside the House of Art team.Drop in and design your own custom hat, bring your own garment, or choose from our collection. We’ll also have T-shirts, vinyl records, and tiles available to purchase and play with. During the session, you’ll be encouraged to explore and pick from a range of creative techniques, including:

• Creating patterns through geometry and mark making
• Experimenting with typography and meaningful messages
• Using paint to develop effects and abstract designs
• Developing your own unique characters and styles

You’ll learn practical design skills, explore your creativity, and leave with your very own personalised artwork to take home.The workshop takes place at the vibrant Firepit Gallery in North Greenwich . A cosy, art-filled space with plenty of inspirationA perfect chance to do something unique, creative, and thoughtful.

Photography and Filming take place during workshops and gallery opening times. Please let us know if you do not want to be on film. All material captured is used for either our social media or future promotion.

Firepit is a unique space, we have a gallery of beautiful and relevant art, artist studio spaces and a community event space. We will hold the event on a large communal table, next to the windows. You are in the heart of the gallery here and are surrounded by inspirational art.
