We will be working at a private property called Resthaven which is opposite Church Lane in Bledlow Ridge. There is a small, free car park opposite Bledlow Ridge School in Church Lane. Please park here and John will be waiting for you! The nearest post code is HP14 4AZ, W3W:///striving.merge.fame. We will meet at 10am and finish at approximately 3pm.
Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

The Task:
Cutting the chalk grassland with brushcutters and then raking and removing the arisings.
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
10.00: Arrival for safety briefing, please don't be late!
10.15: Work begins
11.30: Tea & coffee break
13.00: Lunch Break - please bring your own
15.00: Work finishes, time to go home!
What to Bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain.
Please bring plenty of fluids. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
