It’s A.D. 710. A drought destroys crops and decimates livestock. The desperate folk of Saddlescombe are returning to their pagan ways. Cuthman, a shepherd of men, is summoned to perform a miracle. The Devil has other plans. Faith vs folklore; love, death, famine and a drop of Elixir are celebrated in this imaginative and spectacular retelling of a local legend with song and music.
