The East London Business Alliance (ELBA) is a charity that has been working in East London for 30 years to empower local residents and communities. We do this through engaging the time, skills and expertise of employee volunteers from our corporate member companies in the City and Canary Wharf.

In Hackney we are working to support local residents with employability skills and pathways into employment. On Friday 6th March we are running a session in Hackny helping Hackney residents to develop their CV and interview skills, in partnership with corporate volunteers from UBS, Linklaters and Societe Generale. The session will:

1. support attendees in editing and fine-tuning their CVs with the advice of corporate employees
2. enable attendees to practise their interview skills in a mock-interview set up
3. meet and network with corporate employees
4. build confidence in communication and presentation skills

Registration for this event is FREE, and is open to those who live and/or work in Hackney only. Please bring along a copy of your CV - either in paper form or on a tablet/laptop. You will receive an email confirming all details closer to the time.
