MEETING POINT at the Lynch Gate at St Andrews Church BS21 7UE
This tour starts at St Andrew’s Church in Clevedon, a beautiful 12th Century Church overlooking the Bristol Channel which has 13 War Graves from both World Wars. It finishes a short walk away from the Church, at Clevedon Cemetery, where there are a further 8 War Graves all from WW2.
These graves are referred to as “Scattered Graves’ and the tour will tell you some of the stories behind those graves as well as the something of the history and work of the CWGC. The tour takes approximately an hour and ten minutes and is suitable for most ages.
Parking available on site and nearby; uneven ground, hills and slopes.
Most of our tours will involve a significant amount of walking and many cemeteries will have slopes and uneven ground.
Please come dressed for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
