MEETING POINT: Main entrance to the cemetery on Dogdyke Road, Coningsby.
During the Second World War Coningsby was an RAF station and all but one of the war burials here are of those airmen. The graves are in a special plot in the north-eastern corner and contain 2 First World War commemorations and 37 Second World War commemorations. Our guide will tell you the stories of some of these casualties.
Limited parking available onsite at the cemetery entrance, but there is parking nearby; no facilities or toilets; level ground in most places and mostly wheelchair accessible.
Please note: the cemetery is next to an active RAF airfield so there may be some aircraft noise.
The Commonwealth War Graves Foundation (CWGF) aims to actively engage all communities with the work of the CWGC by telling the inspiring stories through education and outreach projects.
The CWGF is an independent charity registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales (1171947) and Scotland (SC051982).
