Dunure cemetery commands a magnificent location high above the village. It contains a 1939-1945 special war graves plot in which a Cross of Sacrifice has been erected. We have 47 Commonwealth War casualties (all WW2) commemorated in this site, 10 Australian, 5 New Zealanders and 16 Canadians, one of the casualties is unidentified.
Parking will be directed by CWGC volunteers into the cemetery. No parking will be available by the roadside for safety reasons. No facilities or toilets; hills and slopes; level ground; wheelchair access.
