MEETING POINT at the Cross of Sacrifice at the cemetery entrance.
During the tour you will learn about the history of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and about the heroic actions and self-sacrifice of some of our casualties buried in the cemetery.
Rotherham (Moorgate) Cemetery contains 52 Commonwealth burials of the First World War and 32 from the Second, all scattered throughout the cemetery. The Cross of Sacrifice is situated at the main entrance.
