Around the world ordinary people do extraordinary things every day for their community. They do it today, and they did it during the world wars.
Join us this War Graves Week in a celebration of the remarkable everyday men and women who faced extraordinary times during the world wars and gave their lives for their communities.
MEETING POINT by the notice board at the main gate opposite the lodge..
During the tour you will learn about the history of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and about the heroic actions and self-sacrifice of some of our casualties buried in the cemetery.
There is parking on-site. There are no facilities or toilets. The ground is level and this tour has wheelchair access.
Families and people of all ages welcome. This is a dog friendly event but please keep 4 legged friends on a lead.
Please come dressed for the weather and in a suitable walking shoe. Most of the tour is on pathways but may require you to walk on grass at times.
If you require rest breaks or to sit down during the talks please advise the guide at the start of the tour.
