Ymunwch â ni ym Mhontypridd ar yr 17eg o Fai ar gyfer ein Cwrdd Egin cyntaf, lle cewch gyfle i gyfarfod eraill sy’n frwd dros daclo newid hinsawdd a byw’n fwy cynaliadwy.

Bydd grwpiau cymunedol ledled Cymru sy’n cael eu cefnogi gan ein rhaglen Egin yn rhannu straeon o’r prosiectau hinsawdd y maent wedi bod yn gweithio arnynt, a chewch gyfle i ymuno â thrafodaethau neu weithdai ymarferol ar bynciau sy’n gysylltiedig â gweithredu hinsawdd gymunedol. Bydd digon o amser hefyd i sgwrsio â grwpiau eraill sy’n cymryd camau i daclo newid hinsawdd yn eu cymunedau.

Yn wyneb argyfwng costau byw, ansefydlogrwydd byd-eang cynyddol a’r argyfwng hinsawdd, mae’n bwysicach nag erioed bod cymunedau’n dod at ei gilydd i benderfynu ar y math o ddyfodol y maent eisiau ei weld.

Oherwydd cyllid gan Gronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol, gall CYD Cymru gynnig y digwyddiad hwn am ddim i hyd at 100 o bobl. Cofrestrwch heddiw!

Join us in Pontypridd on the 17th of May for our first Egin Gathering, where you’ll have the chance to meet others who are passionate about tackling climate change and live more sustainably.

Community groups across Wales being supported by our Egin programme will share stories from the climate projects they’ve been working on, and you’ll have the chance to join discussions or hands-on workshops on topics connected to community climate action. There’ll also be plenty of time to chat with other groups who are taking steps to tackle climate change in their communities.

Faced with a cost-of-living crisis, increasing global instability and the climate crisis, it’s more important than ever that communities come together to decide the kind of future they want to see.

Due to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, DTA Wales can offer this event for free for up to 100 people. Register today!

Egin is a programme that aims to unlock the collective power of communities in Wales to take their first steps towards tackling climate change and living more sustainably – especially those who are the most likely to be affected by climate change.

Our main focus is groups who might not normally feel included in conversations around climate and sustainability, yet may be the most impacted by climate change.

Egin is led by the Development Trusts Association Wales (DTA Wales) and will run until 2029. It is funded by a Sustainable Steps Wales – Mentoring Grant; the grants are administered by The National Lottery Community Fund and the funding comes from the Dormant Assets Scheme – which donates money left untouched for more than 15 years in bank accounts and building societies.
