About this event
This session is the perfect opportunity to chat as a creative community, to catch up, connect and work together moving forward.
We are super excited to announce not only a new speaker this month but also another new venue!
Our speaker this month is Emma Cottam.
Emma is the Founder of Isabella and Us. and the Positive Wellbeing Zine for Mums. She is a licensed Practical Magic™ Coach and Facilitator, Certified mBIT Coach, writer and creative. She is on a mission to help women thrive, get creative, re-awaken their magic, tune in to their intuition to live the life they want.
She is passionate about supporting others to make time for themselves and supporting their wellbeing.
Emma will share about her business journey alongside working in a full time job, how she has had to adapt to running her business and what changes are ahead and will also share some advice for looking after your wellbeing when you are a small business owner.
Bring along your questions for Emma.
During this session there will be plenty of opportunities for those selfies at our lovely floral venue so do remember those cameras although we are hoping one of our lovely photographer members will be on hand to also get some shots!
USEFUL INFO
CWS Creatives is a group for female creatives that work for themselves or by themselves. Our monthly meet up events are held in Preston, Lancashire. We’re all here to support each other as small indie business owners!
A place to ask even the silliest question, get business advice, network and make new friends. It's a relaxed non-salesy atmosphere - no 60 second elevator pitches! During the Meet Up we have a taster workshop or talk from one of our members and the rest of the time is open to chat with other attendees.
Tea and coffee and treats provided within the price of your ticket. Whoop!
This event is open to non-members so tell your friends or colleagues and grab them a ticket.
FAQs
Where can I park?
There's no free car park unfortunately, but there are plenty of city centre car parks near by.
Can I bring my child?
This is an adults only meet up. We do hold child friendly meet ups, though the next one won't be until early next year.
Do I need to buy my ticket in advance?
Definitely, get your ticket as soon as possible as these events sell out fast.
Do I need to bring anything along with me?
Usually just yourself and maybe some business cards and something to make notes on (like your phone, or a notepad).
Do I need to be a member to come along?
Not at all! As long as you are a female business owner/self employed you are welcome to attend
Will I have to speak in front of everyone?
Definitely not! We try and keep our meet ups as low key as we can. We have a signing in wall so you can see who is here and Shamaila is on hand to welcome and do any introductions.
